Nina married and gave birth to her 4th and 5th children, a twin boy and
a girl. They grew from infants to toddlers. No custom content on
either of them.
One day they were both in their room playing away at the toddler toys
while I was attending to homework and getting motives up.
Finally the toddlers grew tired and I sent the parents to put them in
their cribs. Little Vincent arrived in his crib but mom had some
problem with little Vivica. Vivica was still a toddler but was laying
on her back sounding and behaving like a infant. Everyone I sent to
pick her up would just "pop" when they tried.
I quit w/o saving but when I reentered the lot, I found out that I had
apparently saved after Vivica regressed and was stuck with her in that
state. I tried everyone and everything including the move_objects
cheat to get her up. No one could do it. I tried moving the family to
a new lot. No luck. As a matter of fact after I moved them to a new
lot, Vivica was tethered to Nina and I had to use move_objects to
dislodge her as Nina could do nothing but walk around with her
attached. When detached she laid there like an infant.
BTW, when you see the photo of the family while the lot you are
entering is loading, Vivica looked like a toddler in toddler clothing
but was being held in the manner of an infant.
Finally I deceided that the only way to get rid of Vivica was to wall
her in and let her perish. No luck, she doesn't perish the social
worker shows up and takes all of the kids....not the answer.
Next, I had my parents invite a good friend to move in and then I had
the good friend move out and take Vivica. Finally the lot was free of
Vivica!
I took the single friend moved him into a lot with Vivica. On the
family screen Vivia was not being held and she looked like any other
toddler. However, I discovered that Vivica was still broken; she could
not be picked up. Even w/o my prompting anyone and everyone tried to
pick her up with no luck. They would just "pop" and Vivica remained on
the ground.
I used move_objects to wall her up and waited for the social worker.
When the social worker got there she could not get Vivica either. I
was stuck because all of the options were grayed out. Finally a day
or so later the social worker and Vivica disapeared from the street. I
moved the guy out and I thought I was VIVICA Free!!!!
The guy went on to marry and have a family w/o any problems. Nina had
another child with no problems at all. Twin vincent marreid and has
his only family now w/o problem. Alas, all seemed right w/the
Sim-World.

Days or maybe weeks later I created a family that I wanted to adopt an
infant. Yes, you guessed it! The social worker showed up with broken
Vivica!!! Her name was still Vivica! Still looks the same, dressed the
same in toddler clothing but still broken. I laughed so hard I
cried....until I found that she was stuck on the lot and I could not
quit because the social worker could not pick her up or hand her over.
After a few Sim days they both disappeared so I could quit w/o saving.
Bottom line: I can adopt children just fine but no matter what lot I
am on, no matter what family, if I attempt to adopt an infant or
toddler I get Vivica!! broken Vivica.
Yes, this happened prior to the patch and yes, the patch was installed
when it came out. No, it does not fix the problem.
Someone please tell me how I can delete Vivica completely from my game.
Which delete-able file holds broken Vivica?
