HELP. Cant post with Gigabyte H170 gaming 3 w/ Kaby lake cpu

I can not get my CPU to post or load into BIOS. Everything seems to be connected properly. The lights, case fan, and cpu all function when I turn the power on. Yet I get no Video or Post out? Will the motherboard not post because it needs a BIOS update? I honestly don't know. Please help.

The build is as follows:
i5-7500
Gigabyte H170-Gaming 3
PNY Anarchy 2x8 DDR4 RAM
Corsair 100 case
Insignia 500W PSU

You can install a Skylake CPU and flash the new BIOS.

Returned the Gigabyte H170-Gaming 3 for a ASRock H270 Pro4. Everything works fine now. Thanks!
