Help choose 30in 2560x1600

Hey guys, I saw this asked a while ago and nobody responded to him.

I want a 30'' 2560x1600 monitor and I was hoping someone could recommend one (price obviously a factor).
Connectivity for something like Xbox 360 would be great too.

I am also confused by this new technology mentioned by Dells newest 30'':
It says the connection used is "DisplayPort", claiming it is the wave of the future. However, it does not seem to list DualLink DVI as a connection.
Would this mean my Dual LinK DVI card(s) wouldnt set up with this monitor properly?
It DOES list DVI (but does not say Dual Link DVI) so I dont know if that is different.

The monitor won't display right without a dual link so yes it is a dual link.

Due to the native res I am not sure how suitable it would be for a xbox.

Also these things need alot of power to get decent fps with.

Still I am not aware of that many 30" monitors bar dell one and they are costly beasts.

Oh so would you say the one from last year for 400 less would be good idea, since the only thing it really lacks is the Xbox connection and the new "DisplayPort" thing?

Well, the older one doesn't have as good of a contrast ratio, response time, or color range, but it is still a spectacular monitor.
