Help choosing 24" LCD

OK, I think I have narrowed it down to these LCD monitors, in no particular order:

BenQ G2400W
Samsung 245BW
Samsung 2493HM (10000:1 REALLY???)
Samsung 245T

Now I would really like some serious help making the decision. I have one I'm contemplating, but would appreciate others opinions.

I would personally go with tthe 245T. I just picked up a LG L246WP-BN from BB last night (~$350) and would have gone with the 245T except that I couldn't find it for under $600.

Dynamic Contrast, not Static Contrast.

Think of it like a moving baseline which changes based on the level of brightness. Actual (static) contrast will move +/- 500 from the baseline. That is a very simplistic explanation.

Of the 4 monitors I would go with the 245T.

One follow-up question. If I find a BenQ FP241W, would it be the better choice over the Samsung 245T?

From what little research I've done on the 245T and the FP241W I would think, because the FP241W is discontinued, to just stick with the 245T.

Edog you look like you are in the same vein as me for a monitor. Originally I wanted a 30" Dell but the finanaces are just not here (I need to buy a townhouse/condo first...a little more important LOL)...but I'm still running on a **** 20" Dell CRT. It's time for an upgrade...plus I worry that 30" is too much...heard conflicting information about that, so I think 24" is a solid choice, but I don't want a "budget" monitor.

EDIT: Hmmm not too sure about this 245T now...heard some interesting arguments about "input lag" but haven't looked into them any further. Maybe the BenQ G2400W is the way to go?

That is another one of the reasons I went with the L246, it has one of the lowest input lags for -VA panels. After gaming on it, I really cannot see any ghosting or lag issues. All of my headshots were on, and the only problem is my eyes adjusting to a huge 24" display.

Unfortunately, I got the last model at BB (floor model on EOL) in my area (can't find them online for less than $650 now). Hopefully it will last long, otherwise I will be 'upgraded' to a current 24" display with a crappy TN.
