help choosing 290x vs 970

So my birthday is tomorrow and i dont know if I should choose one of the best 290x

I dont care about the power usage of the 290x I just want to know which is faster, also I really like the cooling in the 290x and the led logo that's the reason I am even considering a 290x

Without a doubt, get the Gtx 970. It's faster and more durable in my opinion.

yeah but this is the lighting, it can overclock a lot it is not the normal 290x
