Im upgrading my computer.
Im getting an i5 8600k
and I have a GTX 1070
I have a buget of 200 for a motherboard and wanted to ask you all what kind is good?

Yes I am planning to overclock the cpu. and I need help with choosing 16 gigs of ram as well

What is your budget for everything you need, and what do you already have that you don't need besides the GTX 1070?

I see what you want to go with for the CPU, and you need a motherboard and memory. What is your PSU model? What is your case model? What CPU cooler are you planning to use? Rather than looking at parts in bits and pieces, it's a lot more efficient to source all the necessary upgrades at once to make sure everything is complimentary.

200 for motherboard 300 series with RGB lighting
200 for ram with RGB lighting
100-150 for case.. looking at fractal design, NZXT or cooler master

psu model: corsair 750.
cpu cooler: fan first then later on down the line upgrade to water cooled

You looking for a mid or full tower case? Tempered glass side panel? Water cooling support? PSU shroud?

mid with tempered glass side panel. i may just want to water cool the CPU only.

Case selection is obviously very subjective. Often what one person likes another finds distasteful but I think it's very hard to beat the Fractal design R6 TG for quality, performance, quiet and looks, especially at the price range. This would sort of be my starting place for recommendations.
