Help Choosing a Graphics Card

I need help picking a graphics card for gaming. I'm open to suggestions because this is my first time building.

Ok, so you are picking a card, but what are you going to be playing? The GTX 1070 or RX 580 is probably your top two choices here. Also, I would get the Rm650x as a power supply instead of that CXM brand. It isn't bad, but the RMx series are a bit better quality. If you can bump up your budget, get a 6700K and Z170 board, and that way you have maximum speed for Skylake (at least for mainstream).

I think the 580 and a freesync monitor might be a good starting point, really depends on your budget.

I think the 1070 is what you want due to the high refresh rate monitor.
