Help choosing a Motherboard

I'm upgrading my Cpu and ram so I need a new motherboard. The only pc part I've ever upgraded was my gpu, so I don't know what to look for or how much to spend. I don't plan on overclocking.
I was looking at the Gigabyte - GA-Z270X, but was told I wouldn't need it if I wasn't going to overclock.

Indeed you can't overclock with that CPU, so you can get either a H270 or B250.
You could go lower, but that would require a BIOS update, so if you don't want any hassle, these are my suggestions:

Both are pretty decent mobos while kinda cheap.

The RAM you picked is DDR4 i presume?
