Question Help choosing a motherboard

Recently I built my first ever PC with a little tight budget . For my Amd Ryzen 5 5600g CPU, I chose a MSI Mag B550 Mortar(Chinese Version) motherboard which costed around 129$ in my country. I chose this motherboard because I wanted to upgrade my pc component in near future. Was it a good deal to choose this mobo at 129$ or should I have gone for a MSI B450 MORTAR MAX motherboard which would cost around 101$ in my country?

Unless you have an older chip to flash the bios with on a b450 to take a 5600g out of the box I would advise to stay with the B550 you have selected.
