My PSU fried on my prebuilt Asus desktop. I want to replace it with a better pay than the factory one, obviously... Most of the PSUsim seeing have a switch built into them where as mine did not, what difference will this make? Been all over the web trying to answer this basic question

I guess what I'm asking is if the psu has a power switch built in to it, will it shut off and on by the motherboard or will I have to manually shut it off and on, so I will use the psu switch instead of the tower switch?
