I have 2 models to choose from:
a EVGA 2080 XC hybrid, or a 2080 FTW3 Ultra.

I thought that the ultra is better since it has a higher boost clock and GT/s + custom PCB. Thing is I found out that the ftw3 version I can get is NOT the regular one: 08G-P4-2287-KR.
instead it's this one: 08G-P4-2283-KR. Even though it has the same name, this model is cheaper and has a lower boost clock from the hybrid. 1710 vs 1800.

Don't know how many GT/s (doesn't say on EVGA website). Then again, I heard the hybrid has an annoying pump noise, so I wanted to know which one should I get.

Thanks!

Solution
2283 is the FTW3, 2287 is the FTW3 ULTRA. different product skus.

The Hybrid cards tend to be over priced - there's not that much to be gained on a strict temperature basis.

For the most part, with modern boost algorithms, a 2080 = any other 2080 (non Super), as clocks will boost to similar levels, provided there's temperature headroom.

I'd opt for the cheaper of the two/three - or ideally, a 2080 SUPER.

Thanks. What happened was that I ordered the FTW3 and got the hybrid by mistake. I didn't know if I should work to return it and get the FTW3. In the end I think that you're right and the difference is not that massive anyway, so I decided to keep the hybrid
