Build Advice Help choosing components for a computer built around running styleGAN3 (or StyleGAN2) ?

Greetings: I was hoping for some advice about building a computer designed primarily for running Generative Adversarial Networks. The goal is to get as much capability for this end within the budget as possible.

This should be a new build, I'm not upgrading any parts.

Budget: Approximately $2000. (I can stretch a bit either way.)

Secondary uses: Photoshop image editing and blender/rendering. (But I have a slower machine that can do much of that.) To be honest, a headless system would have been acceptable! I'm also interested in crypto mining, but that is not the point of the system.

Timeline: Perhaps just after the end of January.

OS: Linux is acceptable; must be able to run Linux. (Windows would be nice.)

Preferred Sources: Something well-known I suppose. I've bought most of my past builds from a local microcenter.

Parts Preferences: I have a slight preference for NVIDIA because it's been known to play a little nicer with blender. However, this is all things being the same with respect to the primary purpose. Otherwise, I am willing to go with used parts!

Overclocking: Maybe. I'm not really interested in reducing the lifetime of components.

SLI/Crossfire: I'll await the recommendation.

Monitor: Optional. I am willing to go with network control.

I guess I am asking for the best value machine with respect to running GANS. Part of the challenge is that I seem to be able to find (older) high-end GPU's for a very reasonable price, but the motherboards are inaccessible or an astronomical amount of money or difficult to use without specialized tools.

Thanks for any advice!

Didn't know about GANS, but read abit about it and seems Nvidia Cuda based so a Nvidia gpu is the way to go. Think for used you'll just have to out on your own and maybe make a list here of what you found, would get some parts new anyway like psu and storage.

Have two builds that might be what you're looking for although both somewhat over budget,

Old and named "dead" platform, there are no new cpu's or motherboards coming for this.
The gpu is in two stores alot cheaper than displayed here and they claim to get new stock so look at that, one says only to get money from you when the gpu is about to be send.
Not sure if a professional gpu would be better for you with what this pc is for, going up in price something like,

or
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/zQKKHx/pny-rtx-a4000-16-gb-rtx-a-series-video-card-vcnrtxa4000-pb
or
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/rTGbt6/pny-rtx-a4500-20-gb-rtx-a-series-video-card-vcnrtxa4500-pb (this one being the best option, alot of ram and cuda cores, looking at the price of the RTX 3080 ti in the build as is, is this probably a better solution for GANS)

What i think would better is be this, but is more expensive when the other above already above budget is depending on what gpu is used and what you spend on that rtx 3080 ti,

Don't know if you need that much storage, but have the 2tb hdd for back up, the 500gb ssd for OS and programs, the 1tb ssd could be used as scratch disc if you need that.
Not alot of info for system requirements when it comes to GANS.
