On 1080p screen with everything set on very high in video settings it will give you at least 30fps. If you lover to 720p you will get 60fps steady (you don't need more than that)

GT 740 will give you 145fps max if you unlock fps cap but I would recommend keeping it locked. I'm talking about 2gb ddr5 version of GT 740

Admirable
GT 740 is stronger gpu but your cpu supports PCIe 1.0a x16 and gpu is 2.0/3.0

ALL full length PCI-e 16x interfaces are backwards compatible down to 1.0 but the problem lies in whether the motherboard's bios will be able to recognize the card or not so I'd test it before I buy it

If it doesnt, would you suggest buying a new rig or upgrading this one?
I live in the Philippines, i've found a pre built pc retailing for 12.5k PHP($350)

Specs are
AMD A8-7600 Kaveri Quad Core @ 3.1 Ghz
Emaxx A70FM2HD
R7 7600

I would definitelly buy new components and keep the stuff that you can keep, like hard drive, pc case maybe etc.. And I wouldn't buy already assembled PC i would buy parts and then build them myself. There are plenty youtube tutorials that can guide you how to assmble computer part by part.

What you want is i3 processor with gpu of 2gb gddr5 ram at least, 2x4GB 1600MHz ram and around 550-600watt good PSU.
