Help choosing graphics card

hi i need help choosing a gpu for my new build the specs are

case: coolermaster storm stryker (bought)

motherboard: Asrock Socket AM3+ 970 Extreme4 5200MT/S Motherboard(bought)

processor: AMD FX8350 Black Edition 8 Core Processor

psu: Corsair CX750 Builder Series CX 750W ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze PSU

ram:Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600 Mhz(bought)

ssd: Samsung 840 Series 120GB 2.5 inch SATA Solid State Drive (bought)

hdd: Western Digital 1TB internal Hard Drive - Caviar Black (bought)

disk drive: Asus DRW-24B5ST 24x Internal SATA DVD Drive (bought)

gpu: thinking of a gtx 590, gtx770, hd 7970, hd 6990 have a budget of around £300

any recommendations will be much appreciated.

Firstly, why that CPU? Intel solutions are way ahead of that at the minute.

As for a GPU; Id vote for a 770 or the 7970, the other two are getting old and Im not a fan of multi-gpu cards.

When in doubt, shoot to the top of your budget on CPU and GPU. I personally would go with the 770, but AMD's 7970s are pretty beefy as well.
