I don't know what made you choose exactly this two laptops since they are quite different.
The hp for example has touch. Do you need this?
On the other hand the asus has a graphics card (beside the one from intel that's in the processor)

If I would have to decide between these two I would definitly get the asus, but I feel like they are both not prefect for this price (or did you need any special function these two have that others do not?)

Maybe it's still not the perfect one, but in my opinion it's way better than the two you chose, since it's same price, but has already the
1tb hdd
8gb Ram
graphics card
and a better processor
