Hey,

I just finished my pc part build and am looking for a monitor setup to use with it. Here's the build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/ZZQ3TW

So I was thinking of doing a dual-monitor setup using this monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009483&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC--pla--LCD+%2f+LED+Monitors--N82E16824009483&gclid=Cj0KEQjw2KyxBRCi2rK11NCDw6UBEiQAO-tljbNuJGVIHuf3fXLhVW_Kbki0HHzdd4ID7-nRdzI3-4aAje68P8HAQ&gclsrc=aw.ds . The reviews seem pretty good on it everywhere, it is cheap, and it has a glossy glass screen.

However, I am pretty interested in 4k or at least 2k, but I'm struggling to find something within my price range. I can find decently priced 27 inch monitors, but I don't really like the dimensions of them. I want something that is much longer than it is tall. And then "ultrawide" monitors seem nice enough but too expensive when I can get a longer screen by linking two monitors (plus I'll have a bar down the middle which I like because it serves an organizational purpose).

So, do you think it might be best to go with the dual Acer H6's since it really is a great value or, if you think I could do better, could you suggest something for me, ideally:
-4k or 2k
-"Ultrawide" dimensions
-Glossy glass Screen THIS IS A MUST (I like the vivid colors)
-Reasonable price (I would love to spend less than $400 but I think that might be impossible for 2k/4k in the size I want).

Also, I am totally open to buying refurbished.

Thanks!

Thanks for the response! But I wonder...
Would 3 of the Acer monitors in my link be better than this? I would get a little bit more horizontally and it would only be $360 + no tax vs $400 plus tax.
