help, choosing the right gpu?

i have a amd 6300 cpu and a gtx 650, wanting to change gpu to a higher one. so will the radeon r9 280x run on my 500-550 psu? is that a good gpu for my budget?budget is 300-350.

its a hexa series one. it can do 500 watts but max load is 550 watts for psu

can you suggest a good psu for my computer? specs are cpu- amd 6300- six core. 8gb ram. gpu is gtx 650 . window 7 os. motherboard is asrock 970 pro 3 r2.0

A good 550 w/ at least 28 AMPs on the 12 volt rail, might look at SeaSonic, EVGA, XFX
