Hey guys!

Finally got rid of my old build after receiving the LG 34UC97-S (An absolute beaut might I add, especially as an upgrade from my ASUS PB278Q)
Anyways, my old rig just wasn't cutting it and after some lucky eBayer managed to pry it from my hands, I finally have the money to complete a new full build. :)

So, at the moment I'm stuck between 2 cases:

Lian Li PC-V2130WX HTPX Big-Tower, Black Window - Insulated - link http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-689-LL&groupid=2362&catid=187

and

Corsair Obsidian Series 900D - link http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-120-CS

Originally, I had my heart set on the 900D, as I wanted something more accessible for a large watercooling loop (I previously came from the CM Cosmos 2, which was a nightmare to watercool)
But after coming across the Lian Li, I just can't keep my mind off it.

Basically, the only thing that's making me hesitant is the £400 price tag, and the fact I can't find any reviews on it and have never owned a Lian Li before.

Any help would be massively appreciated.

Thanks. :)

It's mainly preference, I've always been a fan of large cases.
Plus, even in my old Cosmos 2, space became an issue with a 360, 240 rad, etc. So I'd like something with a little more breathing room this time around. :)

I had the 900D on my build list and then the Enthoo Primo (Computex Case of the Year 2013) came out and I dropped the 900D in a heartbeat.....was soooo glad i waited. Perfect for water cooling twin GFX cards, MoBo and CPU .... 15 fans, dead silent. Comes in white or black.

£199.99 inc VAT

If not water cooling GFX cards tho, you'd be fine with water or air cooling the Enthoo Pro (Computex Case of the Year 2014 - £89.99 inc VAT) or Enthoo Luxe (£129.95 inc VAT) will do just fine.

Best fans on the market, built in fan control (PWM control of 3 pin non-PWN fans), built in pump and reservoir mounts, 120 / 140mm radiator / fan mounts, PSU shrouds, best cable routing I have seen.

Thanks for the informative reply!

As much as I'd like to go for a cheaper case, I have my heart set on one of these 2 (and I feel like it's going a little more towards the Lian Li)

Do you (or anyone else reading this) have any experience with Lian Li cases?

I been a long time customer of FCPU but I am not aware they have a forum. Perhaps you meant OCN ?

Bourbon ... are you water cooling ? I still have to sleeve cables.

That's an awesome looking build you have there! What's the specs?

I'm waiting till I saved enough to start my next watercooling project as I've put everything into the new build, but the plan is to go with acrylic this time and a black and white colour scheme (White fluid, white fans. etc)

Never sleeved cables, so I wouldn't know where to start. haha
Luckily, Overclockers sell pre-sleeved cables for my EVGA PSU so might pick up those to save my sanity.

The build I just got rid of:

Yes, I like the straight look of the acrylic and the primo just did so much of the work for ya in the way pf predrilled mounts for everything that it was a quick build.
