I built my new PC in august and it has been working flawlessly up until a few days ago when it randomly started lagging while playing fortnite. I noticed that the fans were spinning louder than usual so I shut it down and when I started it up the problem seemed to have dissapeared so I paid no attention to it.

Yesterday however I turned my PC on again and the the same problem occured, I was lagging in games, the fans however seemed normal enough. I have a feeling this problem may have been caused by a few power cuts a few days ago. Due to a storm I had multiple power cuts while my PC was on.

I have tried everything, installed newest drivers (Currently nvidia 338.00), monitored temperatures while gaming (they remained normal). I am getting desperate at this point and I'm very worried about it as I invested alot of my money into this computer. I usually get over 100 fps in overwatch maximum settings but I am currently hovering around 60/65.

If anyone has any solutions/potential fixes please reply, thanks.

My specs are as follows:
GPU: Nvidia gtx 1060 6gb
CPU: AMD Ryzen 1400
Mobo: Msi gaming pro b350m
Ram: Corsair Vengeance 16gb 2400mhz
Psu: Aerocool 600w
Stock cpu cooler
240gb drevo ssd
1tb mechanical blue drive
