Help config a pc for game :P

Hi there all im gona post here a pc config and hope you guys give-me some opinions if its good, what to change etc..

First of all im gona buy this pc and the main goal if gaming 😛 and the budget its 1100€ more or less.

Im gona buy the pc at www.f13pc.pt its near from home and they are one of the best stores in Portugal 😛




these are the things im thinking in buy

That's a nice configuration... At least the budget allows it 😉

The motherboard is certainly very capable... why limit the RAM then to just 1600MHz (I have the same RAM for my Phenom II X4). The MOBOs are both similar in capabilities. If you're planning on sticking with your RAM (XMS3) it only supports 1600MHz, which only the Deluxe board seems to support so that ought to narrow things down on that front, unless you change your RAM. I would probably recommend the Corsair Dominator series of RAM with lower latencies.

Regarding the video cards, I would probably go with the dual GTX260. You'll rip through anything for a long time . Though ATI cards tend to save you some money for competitive performance. I mean, in this configuration, getting a 275 or a 2x260 will let you play the latest games in style at any resolution. In light of that, you'll need a solid PSU though, like anything north of 850W in the least to say.

I would stick to the 5850 if I were you. Dual GPU solutions can be prone to problems like microstuttering. The 5850 overclocks very well and supports DirectX11. And its very fast.

Yes the HD 5850 is good, but still, 2xHD5770 especially since X58 isn't bottlenecked to x8/x8 like the P55, so it would run in x16/x16 mode

I'd go with the 5850 over the dual 5770s simply because of the hassle of multi-gpu configs mentioned earlier. However, i can say that neither of those GeForce setups would really be worth your money because they are both old and do not support the latest technology, DirectX11

Sorry, dump the i7 930 and get something based on Intel Core i5-750
