I have a modular psu and a msi 7950 that I'm trying to connect for an external build. How do I go about this?

GPU slots: http://gyazo.com/4f882025e5ac9db63ac78124af99fd29.png
Two cables supplied with GPU: http://gyazo.com/28b66bbc0729719806bff8a7b25499dd.png
PSU slots: http://gyazo.com/4e456e229b0bdc280d5c64365ec37c08.png
Cable supplied with PSU: http://gyazo.com/7bc8773b919315a5dacd1808ae20673e.png

So, do I just connect these together in the logical way? With two cables from the gpu into two of the 4pins on the single cable and then that into the psu?

Thanks for your help. Sorry about the bad quality photos.

What is the make/model of the PSU? The blurry pics make it look like the PSU has a connector for a PCIe 6/8 pin cable with a 4+4 pin CPU power cable on the same Daisey chain. Ideally, you'd want to plug that into the PSU and connect the other end to your card. Ignore the adapter cables that came with the gfx card.

But if the PCIe cable only has one 6/8 pin on it, I'm betting the PSU is underpowered for the card. The card requires two. You could always use one of the adapters to connect to a Molex from the PSU, but if the PSU only has one PCIe power connector, it may be too weak.

Thank you ever so much for your help. So, just to be 100% clear. I'm just using the two cables that came with the card? (http://gyazo.com/28b66bbc0729719806bff8a7b25499dd.png)

Scratch that. I believe my blurry photos really didn't help. The 2 singles cables from the card are 6pin to 4pin (3 actual pins with one "blank").

You shouldn't need them unless your PSU is missing the cables with the PCIe 6/8 pin ends. Just use the cables that came with the PSU, not the card.
