Help Correct Unknown Error Message

After my computer starts up and arrives at the initial screen with all the icons (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Recycle Bin, etc.) a pop-up box immediately appears that reads -- Windows Script Host - Loading script "D:\bin.doc" failed (The device is not ready).

I have to X out of the box in order to proceed with any activity. The box started appearing sometime after I downloaded a VLC media player to my computer in order to play a variety of file formats, but I'm not 100% that download or any other caused this.

Does anyone in the forum know how I might correct this so I do not get the pop-up box?

Try uninstalling your dvd/cd drive and reboot.
If that doesn't work then try going through these steps:
