Help! Corrupted BIOS, no display but the fans/leds/keyboard/mouse works

I really need some help guys, i hope someone help me..

So i've got this pc from hp which is hp pavilion hpe h9-1120d

Im actually updating my bios and then our electricity got cut for a moment(while im updating) without finshing the update then suddenly when i restarted my pc, it has no display but the leds fans keboard and mouse works. I actually tried using the combination key by pressing windows key and b in my keyboard and turning it on, but no luck. My pc turns on and beep 8 times after that, nothing happen.. Is there any way to recover my bios or flashing/reflashing my old bios by using usb? How?
Please help me. I need my computer for my project :C

If your bios update was interrupted by a power loss your bios is most likely corrupted.

A corrupt bios is unfixable, besides replacing the motherboard.

Use the cheapest UPS Best Buy sells and never update your bios during a thunderstorm.

If it is under warranty, just make up a story that it suddenly stopped working.

Don't mention lightning did it.


On the bright side, your hard drive and the data on it should be fine.

Just plug the hard drive into an unused sata port on another computer and transfer to a its hard drive or to a flash drive.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if the power went out while updating your bios chip.
There isn't anyway to recover it, if the bios chip were removable, you could buy a new one from hp directly.

Give them a call today and see what they can do for you, if your willing to pay for a new motherboard, that would be the best choice.
Looking at the computer setup its a BTX mobo so you couldn't use a normal micro atx lga 1155 board and fix it yourself.
