Help Corsair h100x brand new not working.

I've just installed my brand new cpu cooler which is the corsair h100x, and I've connected it up to power supply and the 3 pin to a fan header, but for some reason it doesnt feel like the pump is actually working my idle temps are about 70 degrees, do I need a program for it to work? Or has anyone had trouble with this type of cooler? Cheers

Make sure the fans aren't suffocating and that the pump is plugged into the motherboard. Using coirsairs software it should tell you the pumps speed(or in the bios) also make sure that there’s thermal paste and is mounted properly

Thanks for the reply, Its plugged into a sata cable and I've mounted properly with thermo past, fans and radiator are mounted properly could be the 3 pin connector into a system fan?

It doesnt even feel like the pump works, no noise or anything but it lights up , also the corsair link doesnt even think its plugged in.
