[HELP] Cortana MISSING, only have search text box!

so on my gaming pc that I've had for ever, I'm pretty sure I disabled cortana because I hated the feature and was never going to use it because who cares more FPS right? three years later and wow surprise! I'm an idiot for doing that.

  checked if Cortana was disabled with Ultimate Windows Tweaker (it wasn't)
  tried regedit fix from HowtoGeek
  tried enabling Cortana via Location
  tried removing/reinstalling Cortana via Windows Power Shell + restart

not my image but it basically shows exactly how my "Cortana" looks like minus the device history, opening the settings cogwheel button just opens my Language Settings and almost nothing else.

Why are you an idiot for getting rid of cortana? I was waiting for some thing about how you realize how amazing it is or something. I disabled it a while back, can't stand it.

How did you disable Cortana? Was it through the group policy editor? If so, follow the following:

Hit the Start key, search for Edit group policy, and open it.
Navigate to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Search.
Find Allow Cortana, and double-click to open it.
Click Enabled, and then hit OK.

I do not know how I disabled Cortana, and I do not have Edit Group Policy or Administrative Templates
