Here it is, I changed the CPU to a i5-4690k which has much better performance than the FX 8350. I've lowered the RAM to 8 GB's total, you dont need 16 GB for gaming, and I've chosen a better PSU.

You have another option, which I consider to be a better one. You remove the SSD and buy a 280x instead of the 270x. You can buy the SSD later on. http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/Kb7Kgs
It would give you a better performance in gaming, and practically, it's better adding an SSD later than replacing the GPU.

both of those look solid options, thanks, with the second option would i not be better with an SSD and add the standard hdd when i have more funds? as id want the OS etc running on the ssd

also ny alternative ram suggestions or is that the best 8gb set up for the money.

i think i will try and get the 280x in there, i like the case you have put in, do not know how i missed that one

Better to buy 4590 than 4690k with that PCMate mobo.

You can drop ~16 pounds by going MSI card instead of XFX and Win7 instead of Win8.1

Your choice, but you wont have much space for some time, only 120 GB. You cant install many games on that.
Corsair Vengeance is one the best RAM for the money/performance ratio.

Good luck with your build.
