Help deciding the right monitor

As the title says I'm looking for a new monitor for my new pc I'm building. I was wanting to upgrade to 1440p {the build will have two gtx 970s in it} the monitors in question were the asus pb278q and the asus pg278q rog gsync monitor. My question is the gsync really worth it I don't really mind normal vsync in most cases and I'm not really a competitive gaming or anything if that matters.

Well, G sync helps to eliminate screen tearing so you would have a clear picture, so yeah, it is worth to have it. With 2x 970s, you'll be able to play 1440p ultra with no tearing problems at all, especially with g sync.

I would say gsync and freesync are one of the best things to come around for gaming in years
