I am looking to design a desktop computer that can handle pretty much any game you can throw at it. With that being said, I am a college student and am kinda broke, so keeping it lower on the price range is ideal (around $1000-$1300).

So far I really just searched around and found components that had good ratings, but I don't really even know if they are compatible or if they would be a good choice. If y'all could give me some helpful feedback and criticism I would really appreciate it. Also, I am eager to learn as much as I can, so if you use any acronyms or terms that are less known, please elaborate.

Here is what I have so far.

CPU:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:

Heat Sink:

I haven't selected a power supply yet or a tower and I am actually not sure what else I'll need. Please feel free to offer any suggestions.

Thank you very much!

both motherboard are incompatible with the CPU. you will either need an AM3+ board if you want to keep the FX-8350 or get an Intel CPU if you want to stick with a Z97 board. the hard drive is unnecessary for the price for a gaming PC. use PCpartpicker for an easier time looking for incompatibilities & deals.

plz can you go on www.pcpartpicker.com and do your build there, these links are really annoying :/ but anyways, down to the opinions bit

You have made a mistake btw, a huge one :/ But basically, you have a amd cpu, but you have a intel motherboard, they don't work together my friend

and the graphics cards can only handle medium I'd say
