Hello.

My 5 month old gaming pc keeps freezing after extended use. I fear that static elecricity may be involved but what do i know? There recently was some cleaning involved with a vaccume cleaner nearby.I fear that the person who cleaned it,might have gotten too close to the components with the vaccume.

The freezes happen after a day of use or so,the screen just gets stuck,no button combination helps.Usually i leave an audiobook playing at night and when i wake up in the morning, its often frozen. This morning though,it was frozen too but the audio kept playing in the background and i hit alt-F4 and the sound stopped and it was still frozen. Is there any way i could check some error log or something to find out what component is causing this?

All this started happening right after my bro cleaned out my pc,never before and its been going on for over a week, please advise.

Solution
Have you run memtest? If no download and run for many hours.

Check all drivers and the BIOS are up to date

If this doesn't help then a fresh install of Windows and drivers helps rule out a software problem
