So Did a bios flush as recommended by a support person to fix another issue. immediately have eminence difficulties with my ping on every online game. It hops from an average playable ping on my desired servers to 1000+. I have done 2 tests, one without the ethernet cable plugged in and one wireless.
The wireless results are: Hopping every 4 seconds up to 1500+ on every server around the earth.
Wired: not hopping at all.
Unfortunately wired is not an option.
From this we can deduce that perhaps my wifi adapter is having some trouble, I hope it's not faulty coz this only started to occur since the bios flush.
What I have done: Reinstalled all wifi adaptors. Researched online for fixes and followed some, nothing thus far has worked.
My system is:
Nvidia GTX 1060 6gb (notebook)
Inter(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz
16 gb ram
intel R dual band wireless AC 8260
What would the next course of action be?
Any help in fixing said issue would be amazing.
