HELP DIsk usage at 100% when opening a program. Tried everything right now.

Dont understand..... i even tried to reinstall windows but my disk is still going to 100% usage. I need a soulution. This problem just came a few days. It has never done this before

What are specs of the PC?

have you tested hdd using hdtune? (get free version). Look at the health tab for any warnings.

Does it do it in safe mode?

go to settings/update & security/recovery
under advanced startup, choose restart now
this loads a blue menu on restart
choose troubleshoot
choose advanced
choose start up options
hit the restart button
choose a safe mode (it doesn't matter which) by using number associated with it.
Pc will restart and load safe mode
