[HELP] Display driver AMD driver stopped responding and has recovered

I bought a new computer wth window 7 & have been having this problem but the company I bought it is unable to fix it.

Do you get any artifacts on the screen? Artifacts meaning a checkerboeard like display on your monitor. When does this problem happen? While your playing games, watching movies, at startup, etc?
