Hey people I have a question for you all. I just put together my first pc super excited that it turned on and stays on. But got a bit of an issue here.
I plugged everything in and bam!
I got a message
(Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press any key)
OK all I want to do is enter bios via dos to flash it so I can put my i5 7600k in my system ... atm i can't afford win 10 after a car repair 🙁 ... do I need OS to flash bios??? I have checked hdd and coards are good unless I need to plug into a specific Sata port on the mobo... help please thanks in advance

You have a 6th gen CPU right? You won't be able to flash BIOS, or even enter it without one.
OS is not necessary for BIOS flash.
Assuming you have one just hit the delete key (or whatever it it for your mobo) to enter BIOS.

Ok well pressing delete didn't work... yes I have a i5 6400 inside atm so a 6th Gen is inside... I just get more reboot etc etc messages... is this telling me to put a win 10 drive in the cpu?. Do I need win 10 or another os to enter bios! Wtf is going on. Please any more suggestions

Again, what motherboard do you have?

Are you connecting the USB via the case front USB? If so, what is the case model number and which version USB are you using (2.0/3.0). If not, which motherboard USB port are you attempting to use?
