Help! Error 0cx000005!

Please someone help me, Smite customer support is so useless with fixing this it's not even funny!

Recently my Smite has stopped working, I had not changed a single little thing in between it working and not working and it's worked just fine for a long time... Suddenly at launch it pops up, Smite.EXE has stopped working and then it says the application failed to launch do to error code 0cx0000005 click OK to close the program.

Now I have no idea what else to do to try and fix this...

I have:
Uninstalled/Reinstalled 4 times
Repaired 5 times
sfc /scannow 3 times
defrag
disk cleanup
disk check
Memory test
swapped GPUS from an AMD to an Nvidia with clean installations on the drivers no change
and I have finally reformatted my computer completely wiping all partitions including system backup clean off my hard drive. This fixed it for about 10 minutes then it just did it again. Once again nothing changed in between the time it was working and not working.

I can also play every single other game on my pc just fine without any issues.

I am completely lost, and the Smite devs just keep saying uninstall and reinstall. I have no idea what else could be wrong. The only thing I could think of is a bad mobo or hard drive but they both check out fine in every single other thing. Computer has not slowed and I receive no other errors, minus of course the ones that my AMD used to cause which the card is currently being RMA'd for but like I said I reformatted and have done clean driver installations so I haven't gotten anymore graphical errors.

Please if you can think of anything HALP! I am so lost at this point.

Give your HDD a scan with MalwareBytes and Avast! anti-virus, just to rule out virusses too, how much RAM is your system using out of interest? I heard it could be dodgy RAM that could cause this error, i've had it before when "System and compressed memory" uses too much RAM, simple restart solves it for me but see what you can do with AV and a RAM check :)
 
0cx0000005 means a bad memory address was used. It can be a programming error, something corrupting the contents of memory.

in user mode like running an app, the app will just crash. If it happens to a driver then windows will crash.

generally your first step, is to update the BIOS to the current version, then boot and run memtest to confirm your memory timings are good. Then boot windoows, make sure you have all overclocking turnned off and your machine is not overheating then run the program again to see if you still get the error.
if you do, then I would reinstall the app or look for a update run virus scans and malwarebytes.

you would also want to make sure your core windows files have not been modified. (I assume you have windows 7)
then make sure your various motherboard drivers have been updated for your motherboard.

Couldn't have said that better myself haha :D but yeah hopefully that should do the trick, what about a dodgy update to the game? I know that with PC games for some people updates go weird and for others it's fine, see if other people are having this issue if you haven't already :)

Look... I don't want to sound rude but I have done ALL of that. All of it. And a total partition wipe (considering I always keep my anti virus up to date anyways) should have wiped any standard malware/viruses off... Everything for my computer is up to date. I've even tried older ones with clean installations. Memory test checked out 100% a ok. And it doesn't make sense for it to be faulty memory when all my other games are fine.... I have 16gigs memory. This game was working fine until a few days ago it just stopped. I hadn't done anything in between that time...

Nobody else seems to be having this issue... Also no new updates were made to the game during this time. I also have never overclocked anything in my life... All OC settings are off.

Should I just start pulling ram sticks to see if it works?

Neither Malwarebytes nor AVG can find anything...
 
you must be clear that you have run
memtest86 and that it completed without errors,

you must be clear that you have installed the motherboard high definition sound driver (current version) and booted into BIOS and reset or updated it.

These are issues that are independent of the operating system but can cause your problem.

You can produce a kernel memory dump of your working system and I can take a look at it the debugger to see if I can see a conflict.

even firmware versions of SSD could cause this error
(this would also persist after a wipe of the drive)

YUP! I did all of it. But you want to know something funny that I just found? http://forums.smitegame.com/showthread.php?123194-Smite-exe-Application-Error It fixed it.... It turns out AVG was being an A-hole after it's most recent update and I tested it by disabling it and trying to play. LOL!!! Wow, something so simple. Never would have even thought. Unfortunately it took me 5 days to find this post -__-' Google was showing ones from like 2 years ago but I had to dig to find this one.

On a side note, I really want to thank you guys for going so into depth...Most people just kept saying uninstall and reinstall. If I get issues again I'll make sure to update and follow your steps. I really appreciate it.
