Hello I've been getting a couple of restarts, I think it only happens when playing a game.

0x3B(0xC0000005, 0xFFFFF80704FF35E3, 0xFFFF8B873F36E940, 0x0)
SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

I'm looking at doing a check for corrupted files, and a Disk check, followed by a RAM test, and a re-install of the GPU drivers.

If anyone has any ideas what these codes may mean, it would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks!



Edit:
System file check complete. Corrupted files found and repaired. Moving onto the next check.

how long you been running 1 set of 16gb + 2 individual 8gb sticks?

Can you follow option one on the following link - here - and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD - that creates a file in c windows/minidump after the next BSOD

  1. Open Windows File Explore
  2. Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump
  3. Copy the mini-dump files out onto your Desktop
  4. Do not use Winzip, use the built in facility in Windows
  5. Select those files on your Desktop, right click them and choose 'Send to' - Compressed (zipped) folder
  6. Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox . . . etc.)
  7. Then post a link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you . . .

I did a RAM test using MemTest86 and it came back as a pass, I uninstalled the GPU driver using DDU driver uninstaller, and did a fresh install.

The only thing that seems to have been an issue so far is the corrupted files that windows found and fixed.

if its only a short time, that can cause your BSOD.
Sticks in sets only tested to run with the other sticks in that set.
Individual sticks not tested to run with any other sticks.
Mixing them together can cause BSOD
if you want 4x8gb its best to buy it as 1 set as it shouldn't cause any errors.

I did a clean install of the GPU driver after the crashes. I've been running 16gb from one set for about a year plus. And more recently bought the same 16gb set again and installed that about two months ago. I also changed motherboard and CPU around this time as well.

So would you recommend removing the RAM (including the new ones) and replacing the whole lot with a new set of 32gb? I thought that due to them being the same make and model that there wouldn't be any issues :/

since you changed a few things, see if running 1 set produces errors

If you had a Intel CPU it might work but Ryzen a little more sensitive to running mismatched ram - it might have same specs but its mismatched as it wasn't sold together.

Even if both of the other 2 sticks were a set, it might still cause same problems as they not matched to work together. the more sticks you put together, the more chance of errors.

Alright I might replace the RAM and see how that goes, unfortunately (or fortunately) the crashes are rare, and replacing the old RAM might just be worth it for the sake of stability.
