Help Find First PC Monitor! :)

Hello, I am unsure if I want to buy a 1080p 144 Hz monitor such as the ASUS VG248QE, or if I should spend a bit more money on a 1440p monitor such as the Acer Predator XB241YU or Dell S2417DG. What are you all's thoughts? Also any other recommendations for 1080p 144 Hz monitor, I am hesitant to buy the VG248QE since it has been out for a while already? Thanks

If you are still interested in getting a 1440p monitor, I could not recommend more the Acer Predator XB271HU.

I've been having a much better experience gaming on a 165hz monitor rather than my Acer XB280HK.

But if you are on a tight budget and would rather use a 1080p monitor, then I would go with the Asus VG248QE.

Is it a bit difference between 1080p and 1440p the quality wise? Also I've always herd that if you are getting 1440P always get the 27inch but I think 27 is a bit large. What are your thoughts. Thanks
