Question help finding a cpu

I am wanting to upgrade my CPU which is a i7-7700 CPU 3.60GHz on a motherboard Lenovo 3106 and I have no clue what newer CPU is compatible plus I am on a tight budget so a i7 would be ideal and a suggested GPU would be great I have a GeForce GT 730 because this computer was given to me free so I didn't have a choice

You might want to mention the model of your Lenovo prebuilt system. We can then look up it's specs and see if that platform will indeed accept a processor upgrade though off the top of my head, you won't be able to drop anything beyond the 7th Gen Intel processors due to the chipset limitation.
