Question Help finding a new USB hub ?

Hi all,

I'm trying to find a usb switcher hub to be able to connect my k+m etc to my home PC and work Laptop, to replace the one I already have.

The issue I'm having is that, since buying a new cam, which uses USB-C, it no longer connects as the hub doesn't transfer video.

Is there a switcher hub on the market, that will support video transfer via usb-c (webcam) ?

I see lots with hdmi support, but I don't need that.

Why not use a Type-C to Type A adapter/cable?

Is there a switcher hub on the market, that will support video transfer via usb-c (webcam) ?
Maybe read through this reddit, perhaps see if your webcam has a firmware update and you get your USB webcam to work off the switch you already own.

The hub i'm currently using is this one from amazon.

i would need a new one anyways, as i now have 5 devices that need to be plugged in, so i would need to expand.
