I need help with this weird M2 screw standoff combo, I'm wondering if I can use any kind of screw or if I need to get another screw like this from Acer, or what kind of screw do I need to set this in place.

Laptop model is Acer Aspire A515

You really need to secure the SSD to prevent additional damage. Can you grab the screw head with some pliers and crank it out? If so, you can re-attach the standoff and just replace the screw.
The standoff itself seems to be missing. Then the screw goes into that.

From looking at your picture, it looks like the standoff was pressed into place. You could possibly glue a standoff (if you had the right part) back into place.

Was it like this before you installed the SSD?

Actually, now that you say that the grey thing seems to be the standoff, it has glue marks on it and on top of that it has a small stripped screw screwed in, do you have any idea for a replacement that isn't surgically removing the small screw then glueing the small standoff back? Also, is the m2 drive usable without the screw? This is looking pretty grim
