Help finding motherboard

i got a GTX 750 TI SSC and when i place it in my PC LENOVO pops up on my screen and the PC beeps 3 times before it goes to a black screen, i contacted EVGA to find out whats the problem and he said i need to upgrade my motherboard, now I'm not very tech savvy so i need some help on this one guys.

That is a pretty modern system, I don't see why you'd need to replace the motherboard to run a 750 Ti. Did you try checking for a newer BIOS?

I have tried and when I go to my manufacturer website they say there's no BIOS update available, I was able to get on my PC using my onboard with the 750 Ti in the PC and when I go in display adapters i see the 750 Ti but when I plug my DVI into it the screen goes black.

Go to the BIOS and see if there is an option to set the PCI video as the default. Also try a different video connection on the card.

It may be an issue with the OEM motherboard, sometimes they have issues with running some add-on cards.
