Question Help finishing build

Upgrading from an AMD A10-6800K build, using some old parts from it.

I almost am done. I just need ram, to get it going. My laptop has 3200MHz ram, so I want at least that speed. Looking at two 8GB sticks? Then getting two more in the future? Meeting that criterion, what works best with my mobo?

Also, using the Kingston as a boot drive. But the mobo has M.2. What is the difference between M.2 and NVMe? Can I use an NVMe drive, like the Samsung SN810 in my mobo? If not, what do you recommend?

And for GPU.... I had an RX 560 but not anymore. GTX 1080Ti are about 250 in my area, is that good with a 5600G? I know newer cards are RTX, but I think I can live without it.

Also, what is my weak link? I am using some older parts, some pretty old. I'm a little used to and desensitized to lack of speed from the old A10 😅.

If I read your mobo specs right, it can use an NVMe as a boot drive if you want.

Main practical advantage of M.2 is they don't use cables. They plug directly into motherboard. Not a major difference from other SSDs in performance.

2 sticks of 8 gb RAM now and 2 more later for 32 total not the best idea. Could work, but not standard recommendation. If you need 32 ever, best to get 32 now. Or buy all new 32 in the future rather than add 16 new to 16 old.

Weak links?

Necessity of liquid cooler rather than air.

Unsure of power supply.

Spinning hard drives. Tolerable if budget prevents anything else.

Depending on your situation, you may be better off using existing Kingston 240 GB SSD as the boot drive and not bothering with new M.2 drive. Maybe spend the money elsewhere. Is the Kingston big enough for Windows and your applications?? Could easily be.
