ocz 700watt psu
patriot 4-4-4-12 ddr2 800mhz 2gigs

going to get
raptor HDD
8800gtx
e6420

What motherboard would be best for overclocking with this ram and proc?

I dont need SLI but i dont think the ram is compatable with 650i so i might be stuck with 680i (the product key is the won that ends in LLK not ELK)

Check out the DFI and Abit mobo's they have a good rep for or'clocking..)

i looked at them and i'm a bit of a nub when it comes to overclocking. Do i have to choose one that has an 800mhz fsb?

Choose something that has higher FSB support, so that you have much headroom for OCing and upgrading (given your CPU & RAM, and money won't be the bottleneck)

now im confused at the two different answers... I was gonna choose one of the evga 680i's with an 800mhz fsb. Would that be good?
