Help! First Boot not wroking

Hello could use some of the community’s expertise,
Just finished my very first custom build PC, and having trouble with my first boot.
When I turn on the power from the PSU, the lights power on the motherboard and everything seems to be working fine. Then I press the power button on the chassis and the system seems to come to life. All fans are working, pump works, Fans on Graphics card works.
While holding down delete on my keyboard, the motherboard either will read “AE” or “A2”, BUT nothing happens on my monitor, black screen. I have the HDMI set up on my monitor and plugged into the back of the case. I know the monitor is good because I tried it on my laptop and works fine. So I guess something is wrong internally. I do not hear any beeps upon startup of the system, and know this could be a bad sign.
Please try and be detailed as possible, as I am a new builder.

PSU: EVGA 1000W ATX12V/EPS12V
OS: Windows 8.1
Monitor: Asus PA248Q 24.1"

Case Fans: x2-Noctua NF-F12 120mm
1-Corsair Air series 140
1-Corsair Air series 120
