Help. First build

So I’m building a PC with a ab 350 pro4, I’m using a Ryzen 1600x and a hyper 212 evo. I’ve looked on the website to make sure that all of these items are compatible and they seem to be. But when I go to attach the cpu cooler it’s a very tight fit. Have to put a bit of pressure down to be able to get the screw into the housing for it. I’ve gotten it put together twice with fans kicking on but not much else working as far as I could tell. Since this is my first build ever I am trying to be cover all my grounds. I wen through the checklist on this website and everything seemed to be done correctly. Not sure if there’s anyone out there that can help but any advice would be awesome, thanks.

do you have a dedicated GPU?
