Help! First time building PC

Dec 7, 2012

I am trying to build a PC for the first time in my life and i've been reading some on forums to try and learn how to do this. But i still think it's really hard to know whether or not the components go together and where to put the money if you need to compromize.
I will use the computer for a little bit of gaming such as strcraft II, but mostly for video editing using software lite adobe premiere and after effects.
This is what i've come up with so far:

AMD FX-8350 Black Edition - 4 GHz - Socket AM3+ (FD8350FRHKBOX)

GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 - Socket AM3+ - Chipset AMD 990FX - ATX

KINGSTON PC-minne HyperX Predator 2 x 8 GB DDR3-1866 PC3-14900 (KHX18C9T2K2/16X)

VTX3D Radeon HD 6670 V2 - 2 GB GDDR3 - PCI-Express 2.1 (VX6670 2GBK3-HV2)

CREATIVE Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio 7.1 - PCI-Express (OEM)

COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO (RR-212E-16PK-R1)

ADVANCE PC-chassi Sphere 8913B

SAMSUNG Intern DVD±RW 24x SH-224B

ASUS 23.6" LED-skärm full HD VE247H

I definately think i need to change the GPU but don't know whivh one to choose instead. PLease help.
I need a walkthrough for this I think. "Step by step how to build your own PC."

Thank you!!

You won't need a sound card. Additionally, if you don't plan on overclocking your CPU, you won't need the CPU cooler.
