i need help to find good parts for a 380 pound gaming pc that could play games like battlefield 4 on i would build this at home so help on which parts would be great

For newer games, wouldn't it be better to get the 6300, especially if you are going to OC?

That is true but a decent AM3+ motherboard for overclocking + FX6300 will cost more than i3 4130 + H81M combination. If they can stretch their budget a bit, the FX 6300 and a good 990 chipset motherboard would obviously be better.

Best I could find around £380, Note the early FX-6300 is ONLY in budget because the case and RAM aren't available in the UK so they don't even have a price...and that 260x is very expensive.

If you don't need OS I'll put FX-6300 or i3 4130 in this build.

Why do you care what your PC looks like? You're spending a small budget the appearance should not take precedence over performance.

APU's also perform terribly compared to the i3+260/270 builds. even the expensive APU's like 7850k.

I tried to compare an A10-7850K and R7-250 which is a recommended crossfire configuration but the performance of this setup is a joke compared to similiarly priced i3/FX 6300 R9 270 builds. I still think my original i3/270 build is the best :)
