Hey guys I'm rather new to the computer game. I've just got a bare-bones computer that needs heaps of upgrading. I'm confident in my ability to do the adding and removing of hardware. Anyways I just bought a new GPU it is a ASUS GeForce® GTX 750 TI. Ive got it running but I'm not seeing any difference in performance and would like to try and Overclock this to get my money's worth. I was previously using a gigabyte gtx 650 ti. Really it's my cpu and motherboard that's slowing my computer down. I'd really appreciate some help, here are the specs of my comp.

GPU: ASUS GeForce® GTX 750 Ti

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA780G-UD3H

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955

Ram:8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 401MHz (6-6-6-18)

and my current default clock are as follows:

Current GPU Clock 1071 MHz
Current Memory Clock 2700 MHz
Current Shader Clock 2700 MHz
Voltage 0.962 V
Technology 28 nm
Bus Interface PCI Express x16

I know I'm running ancient DDR2 and I really need to upgrade my Motherboard. Thanks for any help you guys can give!

Try a 1150 Core Clock, go there gradually if it becomes not stable while benching it with a benchmarker try to up the voltage but do not go over 1.1 (At least I wouldn't)

Howdy!
I'd like to OC the gpu, the performance with newer games is really slow. I don't mind low settings, I just want to raise my fps when playing. I think this could be helped with a bit more juice to the gpu.
