Yo,

I'm trying to make a build that is completely asus aura sync compatible. Right now I have a case, cpu cooler, and fans. I need pretty much everything else. I plan to spend aprox $800 more on this build, and since im a rookie I could use some advice from you guys. I want to go for a Ryzen 1600 build because i can get a bundle with a motherboard with the cpu but I am open to other suggestions. Thanks for the read!

Reminder: Asus Aura Sync Compatibility

Solution
Go with Nvidia gpu for adobe products. They benefit from Cuda acceleration. A gtx 1060 6gb would do.

A B450 mobo like the gigabyte aorus pro or Asus Strix would be fine.

Yea sure, NZXT Elite, Cooler Master 120L, and a 120 fan. I also just got a 120gb ssd and G Skillz 3200 mhz 16 gb ram

Im looking at the 2600. Do you think for editing videos(not professional or anything) I should go for that or the 1700? Very similar prices for the two

I should have reworded my question. What is the price difference between the 1700x and the 1700/2600? About a month ago, the 1700x was priced on sale similar to the 2600. That was a legitimate comparison. Because you already have a CPU cooler, the fact that the 1700x did not include one is a non-factor.

Adobe Premiere Pro benefits from the additional cores and a higher clock rate. The 2600 and 1700 would perform on the same level. The 1700x would perform better than the 2600 and 1700 due to the additional cores and a higher clock rate respectively.

To sum it up, the 2600 is better buy than the 1700 because it is newer and no worse than the 1700. The 1700x could also be an option depending on the price.

Thanks from the feedback bro. The 2600 is $20 less than the 1700x. Im just going to wait and see what motherboard someone suggest b4 i make my final decision. Im fine with getting either tbh

Thank you and everyone else for the help!
