Question Help for budget pc build

Feb 8, 2017
Hi everyone,

So I wanted to ask for y'alls help with a budget pc gaming build. Every time I go on pcpartpicker I just always end up going for the high tier stuff for whatever reason.

Any recommendations for a build that would be to play games like Civ6, Overwatch and in the near future Overwatch2 on a 34 inch LG ultrawide monitor 3440x1440. I'm not trying to go for competitive or anything but I just want something to run these games at high settings at 60 fps and not crash. Budget would be somewhere between $500-600

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Your budget really isn't sufficient enough to drive a 1440p ultrawide monitor. You'd need at least a 1650 Super for 60 FPS in Overwatch at that resolution and high settings, but even though I cut every cost I could there was still not enough budget left for any decent SSD or HDD. This is the build I was able to do:

It's still a decent budget build, just not in your budget. But like I said, going down from this would probably cause your requirements to not be fulfilled in at least one of the two games you've mentioned - Civ6 needs a good CPU, Overwatch at that resolution would need at least a half-decent GPU. The build above has both, but again, exceeds your budget. You really need to increase your budget for a proper PC for such a monitor.
