I need help deciding which GPU to choose for a computer I want to build. This is my current build:
CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor ($118.49 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($33.24 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Asus M5A97 R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($88.79 @ Amazon)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($72.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.24 @ Amazon)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 770 2GB Superclocked ACX Video Card ($346.99 @ Amazon)
Case: Fractal Design Define R4 w/Window (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower Case ($89.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: SeaSonic G 550W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($79.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $889.72
I want to be able to play games like Battlefield 4 and Crysis 3 on high settings on a 1080p screen. Should I go with the GTX 770 or the GTX 760 as my budget is only $800-$900? I have read that the GTX 770 should be future proofing for the next few years, while the GTX 760 isn't going to cut it soon.

Solution
Upgrade the CPU, get a phenomenal CPU cooler to overclock the heck out of it, AND get a GTX 770. You'll get Ultra in BF4, and get High in Crysis 3:

CPU: AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core Processor ($148.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D14 65.0 CFM CPU Cooler ($71.50 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($106.99 @ NCIX US)
Memory: A-Data XPG V1.0 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($64.99 @ NCIX US)
Storage: Hitachi Ultrastar 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($48.99 @ Amazon)
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 770 2GB TWIN FROZR Video...
My rule of thumb for a balanced gamer is to budget 2x the cpu cost for the graphics card.
Since budget is an issue, the GTX760 should serve you well.

You might want to read through the entire set of BF4 benchmarks in this report:
http://www.hardwarepal.com/battlefield-4-benchmark-mp-cpu-gpu-w7-vs-w8-1/9/

If you will play BF4 multiplayer, then the emphasis shifts from having a good graphics card to having a fast cpu. Unfortunately multiplayer benchmarks are hard to do so no clear info is available on the value of many cores vs. faster cores.
My suspicion is that a intel quad would be better if you will be in multiplayer mode. If you can find such a
benchmark, post a link here. I am interested.
